implementation of the Response to Intervention
program at Grant Elementary School.

General Overview
  • Grant 2007-2008

  • Increases the total population that can access
    intervention services
  • Identifies students with learning disabilities
    and for access to special education services

The Initial RtI Team
  • Grants RtI Team functions using a tiered model.
    At Tier 1
  • The grade level team will meet to discuss
    concerns and assist with identifying two
    interventions to be used.
  • Interventionist
  • Classroom Teacher
  • Data will be collected with fidelity of
    treatment, and plotted (Our LRT may help with
    this). Two interventions with 4-6 data points
    each, one data point per week.
  • A Record Keeper will note decisions.

  • Grants RtI Tier 2 Team has the following
    personnel
  • Administrator (Principal)
  • Principal Administrative support with school
    systems and personnel, reports progress and
    represents the team at the district level. Will
    attend team meetings once per month.

Coordinates, schedules student for RtI
problem-solving team, makes copies of referral
forms, sets up meeting and help keep others on
track and in the loop.
