Benjamin Franklin was never a US president.
However, He and Alexander Hamilton are the only
two figures on modern American paper currency
that were not presidents.

George Washington
George Washington was the first president of the
United States. He is well known for many reasons.

Abraham Lincoln
Lincoln was the 16th President and was known
mostly for his command of the country during the
civil war.

Franklin Roosevelt
Roosevelt was the 32nd president. He was known
for his prowess in combating the Great Depression.

Harry Truman
As the 33rd president of the USA, Truman was
known as the president who used the Atomic Bomb
against Japan.

Washington also commanded the Revolutionary War
against the British. He established the precedent
of a two term limit to all presidents. (However,
this did not become law until the 20th
century.) He was also famous for the Legend that
he could not tell a lie, even when he cut down
his fathers cherry tree. Finally, he is featured
