    States of America. It is situated on the East
    Coast. It was chosen by George Washington as a
    permanent site for a capital on December 1,
    1800. Washington, D.C., doesnt belong to any
    state. Its a city and district - the District of
    Columbia. Dont confuse with the State of
    Washington.

  • The Statue of Liberty is the symbol of freedom in
    America. It is a bronze figure (almost 46 metre
    of a woman holding up a torch, on Liberty Island
    in New York Harbor, which is a gift from the
    French government sent to America in 1884.
