• Lord, heal my soul for I have sinned against you.

1st Reading

• Second Isaiah presents a striking picture of
  Gods wonderful love despite Israels
  ingratitude. Again and again she forgot her God,
  yet Yahweh will never forsake her. God will wipe
  out all their sins. He offers us His forgiveness.

Gospel

• In Marks Gospel Jesus was very careful in
  revealing Himself. However, in healing the
  paralytic man, Jesus first forgave his sins then
  gave bodily healing.
• In this act, Jesus tells us that He has full
  power over the works of Satan SIN the
  consequence of sickness and death.

• How did the paralytic regain his health?
• 1. Faith of the community - The 4 men opened the
  roof to let the sick man enter Jesus presence.
• 2. Internal healing Jesus first forgave the
  sins of the paralytic.

• Faith is the anchor of forgiveness and healing.
• Today, Jesus reminds us for us to be truly
  healed we need faith and conversion.
