- Business Continuity (BC) is the business
objective that deals with a company's ability to
continue critical business functions, in the face
of unforeseen events. Process of developing
advance arrangements and procedures that enable
an organization to respond to an event in such a
manner that Critical Business Functions continue
to function at a predetermined level - Disaster Recovery (DR) refers to specific tasks
undertaken in the event of a loss by an
organisation. Process of developing advance plans
and procedures enabling an organization to
respond to a disruptive event and restore the
