Assignment
  • Develop a vision with a design for the Campus
    2020 and specifically the Learning Centre on it
    (mandatory)
  • Groups of 6 students, 1 of each discipline (AO,
    AS, FAGO, BWT, CO, UT/VGM )
  • Team as a whole is responsible for the final
    result
  • Everyone is co-responsible for every discipline
  • In discussions borders between disciplines fluid
  • Co-designing a project means you have to fully
    engage in the process from the first moment on
  • If a team member does not meet standard the team
    must not accept this!

Phase 1 ANALYSES 7 concepts (3 weeks)

  • city environment, image, public/private,
    materials, etc.

  • Conceptual schemes and plans, which
  • Sum up the characteristics of a new Learning
    Center
  • Indicate strengths and weaknesses of the
    different concepts
  • Illustrate chosen strategies
  • Indicate strengths and weaknesses of program for
    both Campus 2020 as Learning Center
  • Explain program of requirements
  • Final location of Learning Center (chosen with
    whole group)

  • Spatial translation chosen strategies through
    scale models, drawings, details, etc.

  • Present all 6 disciplines

    with the exhibition)

  • Final grade
  • Is 1 grade for the whole group
  • depends on all 6 disciplines equally!!
  • Is corrected individually with the meelifttoets
  • Be extremely clear easy to read in reports,
    presentation, panels
  • Focus in detail on critical, unique and difficult
    points in the project (within each individual
    discipline)
  • In individual disciplines show that you
    understand consequences of your chosen design
    principles for others

  • The Concept(s) per discipline.
  • Explanation of the chosen principles per
