So what is GIGO?

• Originated from concerns about inefficient and
  low-level use of Conventions
• Evolved over a decade to become a support
  programme for progression to HE IAG
• Attempts to go beyond the what and where, to
  challenge a wide range of educational and
  lifestyle issues
• Now adopted into the UCAS portfolio of material
  to support decision-making into and through HE

Using GIGO

• Its actually challenging and time consuming
  work!
• Know your students needs well enough to be
  selective
• Create own school/college mini-version?
• Some photocopied sections considered essential
• Requires tutorial and individual f/u
