Dismissal / Parking Lot

• Objective Students will demonstrate an
  understanding of the importance of a safe and
  orderly dismissal when leaving Mae Hensley at the
  end of the school day.

What to do when school is out . . .

• All students are to walk to the exit gate when
  the bell rings at 225 p.m.
• Teachers will not release students before the
  bell.
• Students are not to stand and block the exits at
  any time.

Why would you stay on campus?

• Students are NOT to hang out in front of school
  or on school grounds after school unless they
  have a reason to be on campus.
• Possible reasons for remaining on school grounds
  after school are
• After School Intervention Program (T, W, Th)
• Sports
• Tutoring
• ASES Program

Crossing the Street

• Always make eye contact with drivers before
  stepping into the crosswalk to ensure that they
  see you.
• Always walk inside the crosswalk.
• Parents should not drop you off or pick you up in
  the middle of a crosswalk the Ceres Police
  Department will cite for this as it is a major
  safety hazard!

BIKES

• All students must walk their bikes
• In front of the school (from Fowler to the end of
  the parking lot).
• On campus (any time).
• Across all crosswalks.

When is school dismissed for the day?

• 225 p.m.

• In front of school (Fowler to end of the teacher
  parking lot)
