• The Bylaws adopted by the Members of OBI gave it
  the following mandate -
•  
• coordinate and assist in securing and expanding
  the protection internationally of the Outward
  Bound name and trademark
• work to ensure the highest standards of safety
  and performance at centers
• carry out or coordinate fundraising activities
  for the purpose of financing OBI activities or
  the charitable activities of its Members
• recommend to Members acceptance or non-acceptance
  or suspension of entitlement of entities to carry
  out activities under the Outward Bound name and
  trademark
• promote communications between all Members acting
  as a facilitating and coordinating link
• disseminate best practices in safety management
  and program design

• Proactive Trademark registration
• Domain registration for current likely
