    left brain would reject.

  • The purpose of a Focus Group in Market Research
    is to access the right brains aaah experience
    of a product, and process it through the left
    brain as talk.

Dont I Rely On My Left Brain?
  • Sure. You wrote a business plan, you oversee
    your marketing strategies, you follow schedules,
    and you use reason and logic to read the customer
    and his needs.
  • But then you get anxious when things are not
    working, you choke up, you retreat into your
    comfort zone, you say No and you think That
    customers not my kind of people.
  • Its called your ego mind, where you feel
    yourself to be a singular I, separate, and
    sometimes an island.

Where Does The Right Brain Fit In?
  • You use intuition to size up a situation, you
    allow a little uncertainty to enter your life in
    order to reach a goal, and you loosen up.
  • You say Yes, you connect with the customer, you
    coax him back into the showroom, you work out of
    your shared experience to complete a transaction.
  • Its the holistic mind, which embraces others.
    You relax with the I stance and allow yourself
    to be more of a We. You create win-win
    situations.

So Why Dont I Loosen Up?
  • People in the West go for cool-headed with a
    proper distance from the other person.
  • There is less emphasis placed on emotional,
    direct experience of others in our workday.
  • Therefore, in a world where everyone concentrates
    on his left brain, if you become aware of both
    brain functions, you would be King.
  • It comes to this You dont want sober reasoning
    to kill a bright idea or a connection that will
    help your business.

How Does My Right Brain Get More Of A Voice?

    contributions to your business.

Where Do I Put In This Practice Time?
  • Noetic Groups. Noetic means The right and left
    brain are working in concert. It means a few
    more things, but thats for another time.
  • Go at least weekly, and learn to run them in your
    own company. If youre working on an important
    project, go more often.

    September 11 at HIA, the integration of right and
    left brain actions is sought after and rewarded.
