Requirements

• You will be given 2 topics at the beginning.
•  
• You pick one of them to write a speech on in five
  minutes. 
• Then you will speak on that quote for 3 minutes.

What should you do when you prepare?

• Grab a pen and a piece of paper.
• Write an outline
• Strong introduction
• State your points of view clearly
• Body
• Jot down interesting or significant points.
• Dont reject any ideas in your mind
• Use examples, experience and illustrations.
• Brief conclusion
• Summarize what you talked.
• Maybe ask audience questions.
• You only have 5 minutes, do not try to write a
  thesis.

What should you do when you speak?

• Repeat the question/topic you will speak on.
• Hijack the topic.
• Begin with your introductory sentence, elaborate,
  then start working your way to your ending
  sentence.
• If needed, use whiteboard.

What if You Draw A Blank?

• Pretend like you're pausing on purpose.
• If you need more time to think, you may want to
  ask the audience a question.
• If you still can't remember what to say, make up
  a reason to pause the speech.
• Fake enthusiasm and confidence if need be.
