3BIO-PHYSICAL CONCEPTS
- Eucariotic cell is sorrounded by a lipidic
bi-layer which separate the aqueous place of the
cell (citosol) from the outer keeping the
maintenance of the biochemical and
electro-physiological paramethers (omeostasis) - This double lipidic bi-layer is constituted by
phospholipids, cholesterol and its esthers and
Polynsathurated Fatty Acids which permit to
maintaine the cell membrane fluidity - Embedded in the lipidic bi-layer are several
proteins with different functions like receptors,
hydrophilic channels, biochemical signal
transduction and electrochemical trans-membrane
streams regulation
4SELECTIVITY OF THE TRANS-MEMBRANE MOLECULAR
GRADIENT
- Through the lipidic cell membrane the molecules
can diffuse according to strictly defined
biochemical conditions and electro-physiological
gradients - Pore proteins embedded in the bi-layers have
the function to permit the passage of small
hydrophilic molecules and ions through the
lipidic membrane that couldnt be crossed
otherwise - This pore proteins or hydrophilic channels
are constitutevely present in the bi-layers, but
recently has been discovered that these
channels can be switched on by particular
physical impulses applied on the cell
5TRANS-CUTANEOUS MOLECULAR ABSORPTION MAIN
PRINCIPLES
- The main chemico-physical and mechanical obstacle
that opposes to the penetration of molecules
through the skin is the horny layer intended as a
structure composed of horny cells and lipidic
matrix in which are embedded (average thickness
15 mm)

7MATRIPOR PLUS INNOVATIVE ELECTROPORATIVE
TECHNIQUES
- Electroporation is a phenomenon induced by the
application on a biological surface of an
electrical impulse capable to generate
electro-pores inside the lipidic bi-layer of
the cell membrane - This electrical impulse associated to a low
frequency wave is capable to induce a
trans-membrane electrical potential ranging from
0,5 to 1,5 V - If the aforesaid electrical impulse is applied
with a modulate frequency and with the features
of a discontinous electrical stream - ELECTROPORATIVE PHENOMENON ASSUMES PECULIAR
FEATURES AND IS CAPABLE TO HIGHLY ENHANCE THE
ACTIVE COMPOUNDS PENETRATION THROUGH THE SKIN

9MATRIPOR PLUS ACTIVATION STEPS
- STEPS OF MATRIPOR PLUS
- 1) IONIZATION OF THE SUBSTANCE the
elastopulsated current meets the molecule then it
ionises it and makes it active ready for
transport - 2) TRANSMISSION the ionised molecule is
transferred to the optimal depth - 3) ELECTROPORATION around 12 13 minutes,
electropores are created. The molecules diffuse
from one cell to the other by osmosis
10MATRIPOR PLUS BIO-PHYSICAL EFFECTS
- After application of the electrical pulsated
impulse occur - Dramatic enhancement of epidermal layer
permeability toward hydrophylic exogenous
molecules even with high molecular weight and
dimensions - Time-depending openess at cellular level of
hydrophilic pores in the membrane bi-layer
capable to lead the molecules inside the cell and
then diffuse from a cell to another by mean of
the electro-osmotic gradient generated

15MATRIPOR PLUS PECUALIRITIES
- Ionic activation of the molecules to transfer
in the ionization chamber thanks to the
interaction between the elasto-pulsated electric
impulse and the molecules - Deep absorption of the active molecules (8-10 cm)
even of high weight and dimensions (GAG, Soluble
Collagen, peptides) - Hydrophlilic electro-pores induction after
several minutes from the application of the
electrical impules on the skin surface and
creation of an electro-osmotic gradient of the
molecules delivered (transfer of the activated
molecules from a cell to another)
