3Project Mission Statement
- Our goal is to create a well-designed
handheld interface for problem reporting and
management that will prove successful within
NASA's institutional environment and improve the
safety and efficiency of NASA missions by
facilitating collaboration and ease of use. - The spring semester will yield quarterly
deliverables first, a comprehensive literature
review and scheduled field visits second,
reporting and analysis of modeled information
gathered during field visits third, an initial
design concept fourth, a low-fidelity prototype
augmented by one design iteration including user
testing. - The summer semester will consist of several
design iterations defined by ORTs and
supplemented by NASA-specific field visits and
background research. The final product must be a
functional prototype built to win the approval of
end user witnesses by successfully demonstrating
specifically-defined tasks chosen for their
frequency and importance.
