4Preparation of First Status Report

institutes' 9.4 Knowledge shall be the property
of the Contractor generating it. - Observation 3 Access to Knowledge for marketing
purposes should be based on a contract
9.5.4. Access Rights for Use of Knowledge The
Contractors agree that the Access Rights to -
the Pre-Existing Know-How needed for use in
research activities or/and - to the own
Knowledge needed for use in research
activities shall be granted on a royalty-free
basis. In case of Access Rights to the
Pre-Existing Know-How or to the own Knowledge for
Use in the development, creation and marketing of
a product or process, or for creation and
provision of a service, Access Rights shall be
granted on fair and non discriminatory conditions
and the HPDB shall be informed of the content of
the contract.
