DIOGEN- A New Computing Tool For The
Diagnostics And Chemical Analysis Of Nebular

• The main distinctive features are
• 125 emission lines from UV to far-IR for 32
  ions are used
• A 4-zone nebular shell model is used to
  derive Ne and Te simultaneously in separate zones
  of low-, intermediate-, and high-ionization using
  a customizable set of 50 diagnostic ratios
• An alternative optimized method for plasma
  diagnostics or the classical method of crossing
  diagnostic curves could be used
• Abundances are calculated using a list of
  ICFs developed by other authors as well as own
  statistical two-parametric ICFs
• An intuitive and user-friendly graphical user
  interface. The code DIOGEN is running under
  both M Windows and Linux.
• This new astrophysical software may be useful for
  nebular diagnostics and deriving abundances for
  planetary nebulae and HII regions.
