- Needed an inexpensive, relatively simple tool for
e-learning creation - Most of the instructional designers had
Dreamweaver - Looked at extensions
- Found L5 SCORM Producer extension. Very nice, but
not quite what we needed. - Adapted the L5 extension
- Converted to SCORM 2004
- Added more metadata fields
- Separated content from presentation more
thoroughly

- Editing the Taxonomy Tree.
- Start with sp2004_xmltreecode.htm in the
courseconfig folder in the resources folder - Actually an XML file saved with an .htm extension
- Edit the XML
- Add as many child or sibling nodes as you like
- Not element values, only attributes for each node
- _at_name - the ID the extension will use
- _at_value - the friendly name for the node
- _at_state optional, determines whether or not a
node with children is expanded by default.

the resources folder - controller_template_2004.txt
- body_template_2004.txt
- page_template.txt
- Other files in the resources folder (based on the
references in the previous files). - controller_template_2004.txt points to
javascripts - body_template_2004.txt page_template.txt refers
to a CSS file
