Background - Championed by ACP working
group and facilitated by CIDA, DFAIT, INAC,
IRDC/ICA and IC.
Objective - Develop international momentum
on Indigenous Peoples Connectivity -
Increase awareness, and promote on-line
networking and knowledge sharing between
indigenous communities of the Americas and
Northern Hemisphere - Forge inter-americas and
northern hemispheric partnerships towards
identifying on-line learning pilots
Day 3 representation - all our
international guests (communities, institutions,
gov) - all Cdn. Aboriginal communities, NGOs
and two reps from key departments (health,
indian northern, industry, human resource,
foreign affairs, heritage, intl development,
resources)

Lead-Up - Conclusion of Connecting
Indigenous Communities of the Americas will
suggest i) we need to work together to
promote the importance Indigenous
Connectivity within international forums
ii) begin identifying inter-americas Indigenous
on-line networking opportunities
iii) explore developing on-line tools to
facilitate international indigenous
community networking
