Biography of Oldenburg

• Was born in January 28,1929
• Born in Stockholm Sweden
• Moved to America in 1936
• Studied at Yale University from 1946-1950
• Later returned to Chicago to study at the Art
  Institute Of Chicago from 1950-1954

• In 1953 he opened his own studio and became a
  naturalized citizen
• 1956 moved back to New York
• Thats where he met artist including Jim Dine,
  Red Grooms ad Allen Kaprow
• He met Coosje van Bruggen and they collaborated
  together.
• They later married her in 1977
