• Claes Oldenburg was born in Stockholm, Sweden in
  January 28 1929 to a Swedish diplomat.
• When he was 7 he moved to N.Y and then moved to
  Chicago again.
• He then went to Yale and afterwards worked as a
  reporter and attended art classes at the art
  university in Chicago.
