  progressive farmers 16629contact farmers has
  been selected.
• 95 Farm school identified (one in each block.)
• All officers extension workers of the
  department has adopted one village.
• Departmental extension network restructured,
• One extension workers placed in each NYAY
  Panchayat under single window system.
• One Project Associate in ATMA is beeing placed in
  each district.
• Kisangosthi / kisanmela/ Exhibition and farmers
  training were organised in each NYAY Panchayat
  between 01.06.08 to 15.6.08 under krishi mahotsva
  kharif 2008 All line Departments, NGO and private
  parties participated, provided their services and
  inputs to the farmers.
• Kisangosthi / kisanmela/ Exhibition and farmers
  training are also proposed to organised in each
  NYAY Panchayat between 01.10.08 to 18.10.08 under
  krishak mahotsva Rabi 2008.
• 325 Motivapors has been Selcted in cluster of
  traditional crop, 3227 SHG and 64 Fedaration
  Formd and 32351 household covered under IFAD
  scheme.

• In the chairmanship of DG - ICAR 19th zonal
  meeting was held at Almora during 5th 6th
  April 2005. In this meeting it was decided to
  develop farming system modules for different
  agro-ecological situation especially for hilly
  district of state but till date nothing is
  reported .
• Proposal for strengthening of one existing seed
  lab establishment of one new seed lab is
  pending under Govt of India.
