  always wanted people to serve Him with all of
  their heart, will, and with enthusiastic loyalty
• Romans 15.4 Deuteronomy 6.5 Mark 12.30

• Saying you love God, but leaving undone some of
  what He asks of you is not acceptable
• But doing what God asks of you without having
  given your heart to Him is also not acceptable
• What can be accomplished when people give
  themselves to the Lord?

Financial Needs Are Met

• Money was being sent to needy saints in Judea
• Macedonian Xians were very poor, burdened by
  afflictions
• Yet gave liberally, beyond ability and begged to
  give more!
• Why? They gave themselves first to the Lord

• The Israelites showed their incredible devotion
  to the work God had given them to do
• All the materials, tools and labor for the
  building of the tabernacle came from the people
• They gave so much that they had to be restrained
  from giving any more!
