NITAAC IAC
  • Charter
  • To support and promote the partnership between
    the NIH and its Prime Vendors representing the
    NITAAC contract vehicles.  
  • The primary function of the Council is to serve
    as a communication and information exchange on
    issues related to the overall improvement and
    performance of the contracts.
  • The Council will also participate in promoting
    the contracts through outreach and educational
    programs, and by recommending new mechanisms as
    the need and opportunity presents.

IAC Structure
  • Membership
  •  The Council comprised of NITAAC personnel and
    prime vendors. Members are selected from
    volunteers via random drawings. Members
    represent the voice of the entire vendor
    community and work towards the improvement of all
    the contracts.

Marketing Subcommittee
  • Charter
  • to promote the use of NITAAC contract vehicles to
    Government end users and the vendor community.
    This will be accomplished through the
    development, creation, and management of programs
    that establish, promote, educate and communicate
    the brand and value of NITAAC in a cost-effective
    manner.

Program Subcommittee
  • Charter
  • to analyze, develop, field ideas and create
    initiatives to maximize programs and processes.
    These initiatives must either maintain or enhance
    the acceptance, use and growth of the NITAAC
    vehicles. Upon defining a program, the
    subcommittee will support the definition,
    recruitment and facilitation of the logistics for
    program execution.

Government Affairs Subcommittee
  • Charter
  • The NITAAC-IAC Government Affairs Subcommittee
    has been established and chartered to provide
    objective information and options to help NITAAC
    maintain currency to changing government and
    industry requirements that impact the procurement
    environment.
  •  The activities of this subcommittee include, but
    are not limited to
  • Monitor legislation, regulatory requirements,
    government and industry standards that impact
    NITAAC, vendors, or their potential customer
    agencies
  • Forecast and recommend actions in response to
    proposed rules/regulations
  • Promote dialogue between NITAAC, industry,
    legislators and rule makers.
