Objectives of the Sub Panel

• Review and recommend strategies that will
  facilitate the timely creation of a Virginia
  Infrastructure Protection Plan (VIPP).
• Evaluate the draft VIPP for its overall
  effectiveness and compatibility with the National
  Infrastructure Protection Plan and the plans of
  other geographic areas such as the National
  Capital Region and adjacent states.
• Identify challenges to implementation of the VIPP
  and develop strategies and advocacy to assist,
  with particular emphasis on facilitating private
  sector preparedness and communication with other
  affected stakeholders.
• Monitor and assess implementation of the Plan and
  recommend changes as necessary.
