• Single celled organisms all life functions are
  performed in the one cell.
• Division of labor - In multicellular organisms,
  cells are specialized to perform specific tasks.
• There are five basic levels of organization from
  the simplest to the most complex

Level One- Cell

• The individual cell has an individual jobs.
• For example Heart cells

Level Two- Tissues

• Cells rarely work alone
• Cells that are similar in structure and function
  join together to form tissues.
• Every tissue cell must do what it needs to stay
  alive along with doing a specialized job in an
  organisms body.
• For example Heart muscle tissue
• Plants have tissues too

Level Three Organs

• Tissues are organized into organs
• Organs are groups of tissues that work together.
• For example Heart
• Plants have organs too Roots , stems, leaves

Level Four Organ systems

• Organs work together to do a job
• For example Circulatory system
• All organ systems work together to make the next
  level of organization

• An entire living thing.
