Overview

• The Centerview portlet is JSR 168 compliant
• Servlet container must implement 2.4 API
• This allows KPIs and pages to be embedded in
  portlets that can be run inside of portals

Portal Integration

• Example found here
• Within your portal, you can display CenterView
  portlets. (The "look and feel" of a portlet can
  be based on a theme specified for the portlet.)
• Each portlet has various windows states that
  determine how much space the portlet uses and
  various modes in which you can perform tasks.

• Centerview can be integrated into a Sharepoint
  Portal

• Installation
• To install the CenterView Web Part, copy the
  CenterViewPageViewer.wsp and setup.bat files from
  your ltCenterView installationgt\Server\dev_tools\Sh
  arepoint directory to your SharePoint server.
  From a DOS prompt on your SharePoint server, run
  the following command
• setup.bat /install (to install)
• setup.bat /uninstall (to uninstall)

• After the Web Part is installed, you will see it
  listed in the SharePoint Web Part Gallery.

• You can edit the CenterView Web Part to set its
  name, title, SharePoint Web Part group and other
  values by editing it.

• Adding to Sharepoint Page
• Navigate to the SharePoint page that you would
  like to use the CenterView Web Part. Edit the
  SharePoint page, and click the Add a Web Part
  link in your desired zone.

• When you click on the Add a Web Part link,
  locate the CenterView Web Part from the list of
  available Web Parts and click Add.
• The CenterView Web Part will be added to your
  page.

• With the CenterView Web Part added to your page,
  you are now able to edit the properties of the
  Web Part and configure it to work with your
  CenterView server.
• In page edit mode on your SharePoint page, select
  Modify Shared Web Part.
