- A web-based tool for managing professional
development.
3HOW THE PD PROCESS WORKS
- Employee
- Attend a Professional Development Session
- Register attendance on a sign in sheet
- OR
- Give certificate of attendance to PD Manager and
enter request in STI PD (for off-site
professional development)
4USING STI PDTO VIEW TRAINING HISTORY
- SELECT THE STI PD ICON TO LOG ON TO THE WEB SITE
- Use your normal log in and password
- Use the down arrow select Mountain Brook for
your LEA

The HOME TABis the opening window Select the MY
HISTORY tab to view credit, or submit Out of
District request.

MY HISTORY Provides a record of all PD recorded
in STI PD
7WHAT ABOUT OUT OF DISTRICT PD?
- There are 2 steps to request credit for Out of
District PD. - Present certificate of attendance to the local
School PD Manager - Submit the PD session in STI PD

window below)
- OR
- Scroll to bottom of MY TRAINING HISTORY window
- Click SUBMIT NEW TRAINING HISTORY ITEM FOR
APPROVAL
9SUBMIT TRAINING HISTORY
Complete the Information box
Use the down arrow to select TYPE Click on PICK
DATE to choose the Date or Dates Enter the
Training Name, any Notes, and Hours Credit Choose
ADD to submit the Session
10 VIEW TRAINING HISTORY SUBMITTED
- Check Training History
- MY HISTORY tab
- Bottom of window
- Options on right to MODIFY or DELETE
11- To exit the program,
- Select the LOGOUT TAB at the top of the window.
12AFTER SESSION IS SUBMITTED
- Sessions submitted for approval go to the PD
Manager. - PD Manager logs in to STI PD
- STI PD notifies manager of sessions for approval.
- Manager reviews sessions, checks for certificates
- Employee can check history
