• 2nd Grade
• My role as a teacher is to be the best influence
  to my students.
• I plan to enforce my role though
• A positive learning environment
• Active participation in the classroom
• Large emphasis on reading comprehension.

What?

• I plan to base my classroom on 2nd grade
  statewide curriculum.
• Using the following
• Textbooks
• Interaction with learning groups
• Technology
• Division of students based on appropriate reading
  levels

When?

• The academic year (August-May)
• Introducing lower levels of learning in the
  beginning and steadily increasing to the most
  advanced level of learning.

Where?

• The classroom
• Learning centers
• Reading groups
• Involvement with outside sources

• Mission Statement
• To advance knowledge of students and well
  prepare them for the 3rd grade.
