leaders (instructional) we have little choice

- OK so you have an idea of what leadership looks
like and maybe how you fit into the picture. You
probably know what your predominant style is and
now youve also been told that you have to be a
pedagogical leader. - You are also aware that at times you have to be
another type of leader or use a different style -
so where to from here? - My view is the most important thing is about
being yourself - Knowing what your strengths and weaknesses, and
defaults, are will help you to become a more
proficient leader

make are the indirect ones where they are
involved in modeling, monitoring and having

an impact on student outcomes. - Robinson has identified 5 specific leadership
practices which have the most effect on
influencing student outcomes - Establishing goals and expectations
