2
From the main screen, scroll down and click
Reviews
3
You should see Received for Review at the top
4
Find your students work and select review under
Actions to the right of your screen
5
The students work will open, select Assess from
the top of your screen
6
The Assessment Chooser opens. Under the label
drop down menu, you will need to choose inbox
(unless you have changed the label of the
assessments (rubrics) you have received.
7
Locate the assessment (rubric) you want to use,
click select from the far right on your screen.
8
The assessment opens, it defaults to the rubric
and you are ready to begin grading.
9
Under Attained, select the drop down menu and
choose a condition by clicking on it (fully met,
etc.)
10
Click add comment, then type in the box, click
save to exit it.
11
This is how a completed section with a comment
will look when finished.
12
When you are finished with the attained section,
scroll down to the bottom of the page, add
comments under the other comments section. I
usually type my student's grade in this section.
13
Click the drop down box beside Reporting Type,
choose practice or official for the assessment.
(For example, if you allow the student to
resubmit the assignment, choose practice the
first time and official the last time you assess
it.)
14
Click Save Assessment if you want to stop and
return to it later. If you have completed the
assessment, click Save and Submit Assessment.
The assessment is then submitted back to the
student.
15
After saving and submitting an assessment, the
Review section will appear and you will see
Successfully submitted.
16
Scroll down to the assignment you just assessed
and submitted, you should see the word completed
17
Congratulations! You have learned how to
complete an assessment!
