What are Your Priorities?
  • Clarify your priorities.
  • Note there should be a connection between what
    your priorities are, what your goals are, and
    what you spend your time doing.
  • Not all of your priorities and goals will be
    related to your career.
  • These priorities are equally important especially
    when it comes to work /school/life balance.

Write out Your Goals with a Timeline
  • Make a list of your top three priorities for your
    life.
  • Where do you see yourself/career in 5-10 yrs?
  • Where would you like to be in a year?
  • Where would you like to be in 3-6 months?
  • Where would you like to be in a month?
  • What do you have to do in order to reach these
    milestones?
  • What deadlines lie ahead of you?
  • What tasks must be completed to reach these
    deadlines?
  • Write all of this down.

Assess your Current use of Time
  • In a small notebook or your calendar record what
    you do on a daily basis for one week.
  • Be completely honest with yourself regarding how
    you spend your time
  • Be on the look out for time wasted doing things
    that are unimportant.
  • Record throughout the day if possible .
  • When was your energy the greatest? When was it
    low?

Create your time plan
  • Organize you top 3 goals by priority and
    timeline.
  • Look at these goals once a day and visualize
    them.
  • In a notebook or agenda write what you want to
    accomplish for the next month.
  • Make a daily to do list.
  • Schedule as much as possible.
  • Reward yourself, schedule time to for recreation
    or leisure.

Assess your plan
  • Evaluate at the end of the day how much you got
    done and how well you followed your plan.
  • Make adjustments, develop a more manageable
    daily list, if you are not accomplishing your
    tasks.

Continue to implement your plan
  • Commit to writing down your to do list and your
    monthly goals.
  • Review your accomplishments.
  • Add new goals.
  • Stay motivated.
