• When- 7th- 6th Century BC
• Who- The people of Pompeii were affected
• Why- It erupted because of two continental plates
  pushing against each other. There was a pipe
  formed and the built up magma burst out.

• The interesting thing about Pompeii is that it
  was covered over in several layers of ash
• The people in the city were covered in this ash
  and died
• Their bodies were preserved
