In 1990, certain previous acts were put merged
into an act known as the environmental protection
act

One of these acts was to regulate the emissions
to air, land or water

Jaguar, somewhere near the late 80s, used to use
a solvent based paint which damaged the
environment, and also was quite a fire hazard

Jaguar always being mindful of the environment
switched to a water based paint which did not
pose a risk to the environment because

Solvent based paints are a major fire hazard

Are harmful to the environment when released into
the atmosphere

Jaguar, these days also have schemes to benefit
the environment.

They have a scheme where if they cut down trees
for use in the interior styling of their cars,
they replant trees for every tree they use.

They have also started using synthetic materials
as well too to not harm the environment as much

To be the best they can be to the environment,
Jaguar could replace all of the woods they use in
the interior aesthetics of the car with a
synthetic plastic alternative.
