Title: The Environmental protection act
1The Environmental protection act 1990
2In 1990, certain previous acts were put merged
into an act known as the environmental protection
act
3One of these acts was to regulate the emissions
to air, land or water
4Jaguar, somewhere near the late 80s, used to use
a solvent based paint which damaged the
environment, and also was quite a fire hazard
5Jaguar always being mindful of the environment
switched to a water based paint which did not
pose a risk to the environment because
6Solvent based paints are a major fire hazard
7Are harmful to the environment when released into
the atmosphere
8Jaguar, these days also have schemes to benefit
the environment.
9They have a scheme where if they cut down trees
for use in the interior styling of their cars,
they replant trees for every tree they use.
10They have also started using synthetic materials
as well too to not harm the environment as much
11To be the best they can be to the environment,
Jaguar could replace all of the woods they use in
the interior aesthetics of the car with a
synthetic plastic alternative.
