I have a bird as a friend. I think its a girl
by the sound of it. Every morning she whistles a
tune. It sounds like two whistles. I whistle
back. My family and I think its the state
bird. Its a really cool bird.

I like birds. I have a lot of birds on my farm.
My dog chases them around. My bird friend is
blue-green. Shes my favorite bird. She usually
is in a certain tree. Whenever it hears another
kind of bird it flies away. I dont like it when
they scare her.

Sometimes the bird flies away to my neighbors
house. I wish I had a bird of my own . I cant
catch one. My cousin has a parrot. I like
parrots too. Parrots are amazing. I dont even
know how they fly! Someday I would like to fly.
I bet it would be fun!
