LBST Curriculum Approval Subcommittee (LCAS)
proposal for discussion
  • The LCAS will be a temporary subcommittee of the
Liberal Studies Committee and will consist of
members from the College Academic Affairs
    Committees, the University Academic Affairs
Committee, and the Liberal Studies Committee.
The LCAS will review and approve the items listed
below on behalf of the Liberal Studies Committee
(thus freeing the larger Committee for other
work). Once the LCAS has approved these items,
they will then go to the appropriate College
Academic Affairs Committee, then to the
    University Academic Affairs Committee for
approval. It is hoped that this procedure will
expedite the approval process, since members of
the various academic affairs committees can
facilitate discussion of proposals in their
    respective committees.
