  • help generate jobs for those in greatest need,
    particularly young people, and in areas of high
    unemployment

  • create a significant proportion of jobs quickly.

  • overall cost of each bid should not exceed 6,500
    per job created (including admin costs)
  • can be supplemented by funding from other sources
  • each job created must last for a minimum of 6
    months and 3 days per week
  • Likely to favour proposals that
  • demonstrate potential for sustainable employment
  • include proposals for training
  • contribute to the creation of new green jobs
  • provide value for money and / or include
    additional funding from other sources.
