9MPF Program
- Current Posture
- MPSRON 1 and 3 have 98-99 attainment
- MPSRON-2 Reconstitution
- Supplemental funding approved
- Some of it should already be available
- With supplemental funding, estimated attainment
will approach 75 pre-OIF levels.
10MPSRON-2 Reconstitution
11Proposed MMC Tailoring, Refinement, Execution
Cycle
- Tailor for an entire MMC triennially (every
third year) - Refine the MMC tailoring effort during interim
years

12MPF Tailoring Process (draft)
Validate the T/E and the F/L, capture required
and desired changes. Use this data, along with
most current NAVMC 2907, as the baseline for
tailoring
Determine Tradespace
Decide
Determine Required Changes what force structure
and equipment changes have occurred since the
last PO was published and/or will occur before
next load based on this tailoring effort
Determine Prioritization
Refined PO
Refined FIE
Determine space impact of required and desired
changes
Publish updated 2907
Determine Desired Changes based upon operating
force and supporting establishment input
Data to MCCDC to update TFSMS, which becomes AAO
input

NAVMC is published, showing The PO for all
classes of supply The PO and the FIE for class
II/VII MCCDC TFSD takes the PO portion of the
the Class II/VII and creates a T/E
(H, I, J) The T/E is NOT the total MEB

Synopsis of what the AAO IPT does
- The AAO IPT recommends the quantity of an item
that the USMC - should purchase and maintain
- An AAO includes Operating Forces (active and
reserve), - Supporting Establishment (EEAP, Schools), MPF,
MCPP-N, DMFA - and WRMR (actually net WRMR, which is total
WRMR minus MPF) - New start AND legacy AAOs are reviewed by the
AAO IPT - When an AAO IPT recommendation is approved by
the MROC, it is - entered into TFSMS as the official AAO for an
item - PMs use the TFSFMS AAO as basis for procurement
requirements - For prepositioning programs, the AAO quantity is
the number that - we intend to preposition
