1 Corinthians 618-20.
18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man
does is outside the body, but he who commits
sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19
Or do you not know that your body is the temple
of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have
from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you
were bought at a price therefore glorify God in
your body and in your spirit, which are Gods.
Does the H.S dwell in us?
Yes, He does.

1 Peter 411...
11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles
of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as
with the ability which God supplies, that in all
things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ,
to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever

What is the Meaning of Indwell ?
to reside to live in a place to take up
residence To be located or implanted inside
something.
Before we consider the indwelling of the Holy
Spirit in us, I would like to invite you to first
take a look some indwelling that the Bible also
mention. We cannot accept the one and ignore the
others. So we need to be consistent and speak
were the Bible speak and keep silence the Bible
is silence

GOD DWELLS IN THE CHRISTIAN

2 Corinthians. 616 16And what agreement has
the temple of God with idols? For you are the
temple of the living God. As God has said I
will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be
their God, And they shall be My people.
Ephesians 46 6 one God and Father of all, who
is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Philippians. 213 13for it is God who works in
you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
1 John 44, You are of God, little children, and
have overcome them, because He who is in you is
greater than he who is in the world.
1 John 412 12No one has seen God at any time.
If we love one another, God abides in us, and His
love has been perfected in us.

THE CHRISTIAN DWELLS IN GOD
1 John 413 13By this we know that we abide in
Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His
Spirit.
1 John. 415-16 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus
is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in
God. 16And we have known and believed the love
that God has for us. God is love, and he who
abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

John 1723,26 23I in them, and You in Me that

them, and I in them.
Rom. 810 10 And if Christ is in you, the body
is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life

know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in

THE CHRISTIAN DWELLS IN CHRIST.
John. 656 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks
My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
John 154-5 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the
branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it
abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you
abide in Me. 5I am the vine, you are the
branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him,
bears much fruit for without Me you can do
nothing.
2 Corinthians. 517 17 Therefore, if anyone is
in Christ, he is a new creation old things have
passed away behold, all things have become new.

THE HOLY SPIRIT DWELLS IN THE CHRISTIAN.
Romans 89 9 But you are not in the flesh but
in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells
in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of
Christ, he is not His.
Romans 811 11 But if the Spirit of Him who
raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who
raised Christ from the dead will also give life
to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who
dwells in you.
1 Corinthians 316 Do you not know that you are
the temple of God and that the Spirit of God
dwells in you?

your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is

THE MEANS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT INDWELLING.
No Bible believer can doubt the fact of the
indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible so states it Father is IN the
Christian, the Son is IN the Christian, and the
Holy Spirit is IN the Christian.
The question is HOW?

Galatians. 32 2 This only I want to learn from
you Did you receive the Spirit by the works of
the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Rom. 1017 17 So then faith comes by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God.

Not literally, bodily, personally, but through
the Word of God the Spirit dwells in every
Christian!
Romans 82 For the law of the Spirit of life in
Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin
and death.
2 John 9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide
in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He
who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the
Father and the Son.
Revel. 21, 29 To the angel of the church of
Ephesus write, 29He who has an ear, let him hear
what the Spirit says to the churches.
