• Established ten years ago
• Initially funded by the Foundation of Nursing
  Studies
• Now self-supporting
• Each country has one representative
• Report back to own country Quality Nursing
  Network, e.g. QUANA, DQI

Aims of Euroquan

• To promote quality in healthcare and nursing by
  strengthening collaboration between European
  nurses involved in quality improvement programmes
  
• To provide a forum for the exchange of experience
  and information about quality related projects,
  carried out by nurses in countries throughout
  Europe
• To encourage collaboration between countries

• Organising and building national networks
• Organising meetings of the Steering Group
• Organising European Quality conferences
• Participating in collaborative quality
  improvement projects within and between member
  countries
• Supporting and disseminating local initiatives
• Liaising with other relevant groups

  national boundaries
