  • Surface water flow
  • Expand to international standards, and to
    monitor water use and Reserve compliance.

    (physico-chemical, microbial, eutrophication,
    biological, toxicity, radioactivity, estuarine).

  • Dam safety
  • Pollution of water resources
  • Aspects of droughts
  • Proactive approach, within the framework of
    national disaster management policy and
    legislation, and in co-operation with other
    institutions and organisations in government and
    the private sector.
  • Water management institutions required to make
    information available on potential or actual
    hazards.
