• Click on Start Menu to Begin
• Go to Programs
• Highlight Microsoft PowerPoint
• Click Once
• Select Blank Presentation
• Click OK

• Place Cursor on First New Slide
• Click on Slide
• Click OK
• Place Cursor on Format Menu
• Click on It to Show Pull Down Menu
• Scroll Down and Highlight Apply Design (e.g.,
  Fans.pot)
• Click on It
• Place Cursor on One of the Designs

• Notice Preview on Right Side of Screen
• Click on Apply
• Place Cursor in Middle of Title Box
• Click on It
• Type the Title for Your Presentation
• Click on the Subtitle Box and Add Subtitle

• Pull down insert menu by clicking on it
• Highlight new slide
• Click on it
• Select the second slide from the auto layouts
• Click on it
• Click OK
• Click on title in new slide
• Type in title

  Support Your Title
• Place Cursor in the Title Box
• Click on It
• Pull Down Slide Show Menu by Clicking on It
• Highlight Custom Animation
• Click on It
• Click on Pull Down Menu Next to No Effect.
• Highlight Fly From Left
• Click on It

• Click on Pull Down Menu Next to No Sound
• Highlight Laser
• Click on Laser
• Click on Timing
• Double Click Text 2
• Under Start Animation Point Your Cursor on
  Animate
• Click on It
• (You May Choose to Not Animate Your Text in the
  Future)

• Determine Animation Order for Title 1 and Text 2
  by Highlighting One of Them and Clicking on Arrow
  
• Select Automatically and Enter 5 Seconds
• Click on Preview Button
• View Your Slide
• Click OK

• Click on It
• Highlight New Slide
• Click on Slide from Auto Layout
• Click OK
• Go to Insert Menu Again
• Highlight picture--Clip Art
• Click on It
• Place Cursor on Academic in Microsoft Clip
  Gallery
• Click On It

• Place Cursor on One of the Pictures
• Click on It
• Click OK to Insert Clip Art
• Place Cursor in Middle of Picture
• Cursor Changes to 4 Arrows
• Hold Down Left Mouse Button
• Move Picture

• Notice the 8 Handles Around Picture
• Click on Picture If You Dont See Handles
• Place Cursor on the Corner of the Picture
• Cursor Should Turn Into a Double Arrow
• Use This Double Arrow to Adjust Picture Size
• Click In Empty Space

• Highlight Slide Transition
• Click on It
• Pull Down Menu Next to No Transition
• Highlight BlindsVertical
• Click on It
• Click on Either Slow, Medium, or Fast

  Todays Presentation
• Click on Mouse Click to Manually Change Slides
• Pull Down Menu Next to No Sound
• Highlight and Click on Typewriter
