Poverty Measurement Statistics

• Authorization and liability of the RSO to monitor
  poverty trends in the Republic of Serbia, with
  the aim of recognizing the most vulnerable groups
  of population and the main poverty risk factors.

  standards trends to economic policy makers
• Detailed poverty profile is a key source of data

• Introduction of the SILC survey into the program
  of regular statistical surveys (one of the acquis
  communautaire in the field of statistics)

SILC Survey

• A complex survey, providing information on
  household income, living conditions, poverty and
  social inclusion.
• Laeken indicators are calculated based on the
  SILC findings, which cover four significant
  social inclusion dimensions
• Financial poverty

• Prominent multidimensionality of the social
  inclusion phenomenon.
