THE VICEGERENTAL MIND WHAT IS IT?

• It is self evident that Al- Quran aspires
  towards building a vicegerent on earth. The
  central objective is clearly spelled out in the
  following verse

  ?????????? ?????? ??? ???????? ?????? ??????????
  ????????? ???????? ????????? ??????????
  ??????????? ???? ????? ?????? ???????? ??? ???

• ( And when the lord said to the angels, I am
  about to place a vicegerent in the earth, they
  said Wilt THOU place therein such as will cause
  disorder in it, and shed blood? and we glory
  THEE with THY praise and extol Thy holiness, HE
  answered, I know what you know not.)

THE VICEGERENTAL MIND WHAT IS IT?

• For Al-Quran to build this type of personality
  and man, the starting point is the mind that can
  understand, commit, realized, live and bear the
  responsibility of a vicegerent. To build this
  vicegerental mind, al-Quran consider knowledge
  as back bone of the entire process. The holy
  Quran declares that

(And HE taught Adam all the names, then HE put
the objects of these names before the Angels and
said, Tell ME the names of these if you are
right. (31)

They said, Holy art THOU! No knowledge have we
except what THOU hast taught us surely THOU art
All-Knowing, the Wise. (32)

• HE said O Adam tell them their names and when
  he told them their names, HE said Did I not said
  to you, I know the secrets of the heavens and the
  earth, and I know what you reveal and what you
  hide?(33) (2

THE VICEGERENTAL MIND WHAT IS IT?

• It is the mind whose vision, approach,
  understanding, thoughts and actions are moulded
  and guided by the Quranic Worldview. It is the
  mind that acknowledges the unity of God as the
  cardinal principle of his of life and existence.
• It is a mind that absorbs and internalizes the
  trust of Allah and realized fully his place and
  role in the Universe as a vicegerent of God.
• It is Civilizational and Umrenic mind in the
  sense that building a balance civilization and
  tamadun that reflects the unit of God is its main
  objective in the world.

• It is a mind that upholds all the values
  enshrined in the Quran with equality, justice,
  righteousness, freedom, tolerance, forgiveness,
  humanity, brotherhood, cooperation, solidarity,
  love, trustworthinessetc.
• It is the mind that considers righteous work and
  serving fellow human as a religious duty and
  obligations.
• It is a mind which is aware of the importance of
  the knowledge of the seen and unseen in
  understanding the purpose of creation and build a
  worldy life that is attached to the reveal
  knowledge and norms.
• It is a mind that consider Ihasan and excellence
  in life pursuits as an obligation and a duty.
