concert festivals at district and state level
that concert bands are expected to be a part of
(These events happen in every other state as
well) - Band Directors and Adjudicators from State and
Region judge band program success on these
performances on a yearly basis and compare to
other bands in the State - These performances springboard band program into
regional, state, and national/international
venues - Success for students increases as acclaim from
the State arises, band community eyes program,
more and more scholarship opportunities for
students
