passengersSecond day (July 4 August 12) -
250,000 passengers a day due to it being a
weekend and many visitors wanting to try the
Subway--for some a once in a lifetime
experience. - August 12th to Date 2004 Fares set to normal.
- Monday has the least passengers (180,000
passengers a day) and it will climb up on Tuesday
(nearly 200,000 passengers a day) and Friday to
Sunday has the most (240,000 passengers a day). - There's no clear indication that the system has
eased the general city traffic problems except
along the routes that the subway system follows.
