- There will be close to 3 x 2Mbps Internet links
from Indonesia in 1996. - At least 17 Provinces will be linked through
Frame Relay (2Mbps) in 1996 (currently only 4
provinces). - At least 2 companies will install a new VSAT
backbone for data in early 1996. - There will be 4-5 major players in providing the
national data backbone.
4Stressful Burden for Networkers
- 6-8 Seminars / Workshops / Tutorials per month!
- Many request for concultancy work mainly coming
from Private and Government Owned Industries. - Request for training from many universities.
- The last few weeks is VERY HECTIC for most
Indonesian networkers. - Not sure how can we sleep in the next months.

leased-line, dial-up, or satellite inter-city /

lists, 14 major newsgroups, numerous WWW Gopher
servers.
