E-Learning Project
- Progress presentation,
- Turku January 28th 2009
2- Overall goals
- Create knowledge about factors that intervene in
the - processes of design, implementation and
evaluation of e-learning couses or units with the
use of Web2.0 tools. - Special attention on aspects of quality assurance
and student support. - Learning activities and assignments imply the
active exploration and use of Web2.0 tools as a
previous step to their real integration in a
design proptotype. - Prototyping and evaluation through AR-activity

intervention. - Identify possibilities and constraints, also
regarding - use of Web 2.0 tools.
- Resources and activities Reading and questions
for reflection - Goals achieved Lively discussion on the
proposed questions - WIKI First contact with Web 2.0 tools
- b) Case Study Active reflection on possibilities
of implementation of Web 2.0 tools - in a real environment (Tourism School UIB).
- Resources Case description
- Goals achieved 4 CS-Reports produced by 4
groups, 16 participants in total. WIKI
Co-evaluation
10- The modules
- Module 2 (Jan. 12th to Feb. 2nd)
- Goals
- a) Learn about different ID-approaches in order
to be able - to apply this knowledge on an own design project
based - on the use of Web 2.0 tools
- b) Reflect on need and possibilities of
- student support systems
- c) Develop a course or module design adapted to
own - teaching context using Web 2.0 and including an
element of - student support.
- d) Creation of a Social Bookmark space for more
resources on - ID, student support and evaluation.
- Resources and activities 2 Readings and
questions - for reflection, debate. Collaborative design
development in - a chosen Web 2.0 environment.
Students are asked to develop a course design in
accordance with their AR-planning, if they are
engaged in one.
11- The modules
- Module 3 (Feb. 9th to Mar. 13th)
- Goals
- Implementation of the prototype
Resources and activities Reading on evaluation
methods in e-learning contexts in order to give
students the possibility to develop an evaluation
strategy apart from AR. Co-evaluation of
presented evaluation strategies. Presentation of
evalaution result.
12- The modules
- Module 4 (Apr.. 20th to May 25th)
