Executive Summary
This report contains a detailed statistical analysis of the results to the survey titled Agriculture Teacher Survey . The results analysis includes answers from all respondents who took the survey in the 24 day period from Tuesday, December 18, 2007 to Thursday, January 10, 2008. 34 completed responses were received to the survey during this time.

Teacher recommendations

• Questions 5 through 9 below asked each high
  school agriculture teacher responding to the
  survey to estimate the percentage of their high
  school agriculture students they have recommended
  attend each of four neighboring community
  colleges, COS, Porterville, West Hills, and
  Reedley. Analysis of question 5, for example,
  shows that 19 of the 34 responding teachers
  recommend COS to 50 or more of their high school
  agriculture students. Question eight shows that 8
  of the responding teachers recommend Reedley to
  50 or more of their students. Questions 6 and 7
  show, on the other hand, that only two of the
  teachers have recommend either Porterville or
  West Hills to more than 50 of their past
  agriculture students. In summary, respondents
  recommend COS by a large majority, followed by
  Reedley responding teachers seldom recommend
  West Hills and Porterville to their agriculture
  students.
