• Buried/Above ground utilities
• Meeting ADA Walkway slopes
• Steep grades over all of the site, especially
  near abandoned C street
• Proximity of the C street bridge (noise)
• Overall size of monument foundations

Overcoming Obstacles

• Locate all utilities and avoid them at all costs!
  But the ones that cant be avoided above ground
  use shrubs and trees to cover.
• ADA walkway slopes can be a max of 5
• Cut and fill to make steep grades usable
• Use retaining walls to keep monuments level
• If amphitheater is requested, recommend facing it
  towards the building lowering noise disturbance
• Adding aesthetically pleasing retaining walls
  will give semi-private viewing of monuments
• Acquiring accurate sizes of the monuments
