  • Face of the chapter
  • Leader of the best and brightest of your campus
  • Duties include
  • Presiding over meetings
  • Developing the chapter strategic plan
  • Zone leader for administrative zone (Vice
    President, Programs chair, Secretary, Treasurer,
    and Parliamentarian)
  • Work with external organizations (SWE, IEEE,
    etc.)
  • Plan and make strategic moves to ensure chapter
    success
  • Develop the chapter long range plan

  • Stay in communication with your board and
    Regional Chair
  • Dont let NSBE run your life - Prioritize
  • Realize that all your goals may not happen this
    year, but if you plan right, they can happen in
    the next year or two
  • Be visionary, be long range, have an impact and
    be true to NSBE and yourself
