    childrens playground in the Dominican Republic.

  • Students at Bali International School, Indonesia,
    have developed the Taman Bacaan Community
    Library in Bali, providing books and computers
    for the local community
  • opened February 2008.

  • Bahrain School students
  • studied poverty in development economics in class
    as part of their IB Diploma Programme economics
    course.

  • did something about it in the local community
    by improving living conditions for poor local
    expatriate workers through

  • Decorating an apartment for 37 people, providing
    drinking water and a new bathroom
